融合了007的神秘氛围以及昆汀塔伦蒂诺式的后性感甜蜜危险，这就是Hang on the box挂在盒子上乐队最新EP唱片的主打歌曲 《KissKiss,BangBang》。乐评人邹小樱的一句话概括这张专辑再恰当不过，“成熟的挂盒太可怕了！”这句话其解析为 “纯熟的氛围营造技巧，对歌曲结构的张力的驾驭，自然散发的酷劲儿。她们不再是那个单靠横冲直撞的态度就能被概括的乐队。成熟的挂盒太可怕了！”
Hang on the box 挂在盒子上乐队成立于1998年7月作为第一代北京朋克乐队被载入中国摇滚乐历史，由于出道期犀利的歌词以及叛逆的音乐态度，乐队成立不到半年便以中国新 锐女孩文化的代表人物荣登美国新闻周刊《Newsweek》封面。你可以说她们就是中国的“少年刀”或是“Bikini kill”，如果 Kurt Cobian还活着的话一定会邀请她们同台表演，因为早在十年前玛丽莲曼森和Billy corgan都已经成为了挂盒的歌迷。除此之外为性手枪，纽约妞以及约翰列农和Green Day拍摄照片的世界摇滚史着名摄影师Bob Gruen 在纽约破例为挂盒拍摄了形象大片，在中文滚石杂志记者洛小婷采访Bob Gruen的文章里Bob说：“提到中国乐队他会说Hang on the box，因为她们很具摇滚精神。”
即将在北京树音乐公司出版发行的这张唱片是乐队2007年原成员离队阔别舞台六年后的一张EP唱片，乐队成员在2013年最新录制完成。主打歌 曲 《KissKiss，BangBang》是乐队向美国导演昆汀塔伦蒂诺致敬的歌曲。而在《Beautiful girl》歌曲里你能明显嗅到挂盒一贯的风味，主唱Gia独特高昂失真人声叫嚷，配以强进鲜明的贝斯线，可称得上是“dance rock+punk lounge”的经典佳作。《Down by the water》一经放出即被歌迷们评定为颠覆原作的翻唱，着名DJ张有待开玩笑说这首歌听出了一身汗，以为挂盒换了 Florence Welch作新主唱。
2013年12月29日晚八点，Hang on the box挂在盒子上乐队唯一的原成员也是灵魂人物Gia携新成员一起亮相后山艺术空间，带来新EP唱片的首发演出。乐队全新成员以及整体形象仍然保持着挂盒 以往的风范，喜欢时尚和调皮活泼的 叛逆女孩，她们也是同样来自北京：贝斯手牛方方和鼓手扬杨，还有一位来自东京的极具气质的吉他手Ubi。Hang on the box挂在盒子上乐队这支最具国际影响力以及传奇色彩的乐队经历了15年的风雨跌宕，将丰富经历都融汇在音乐作品里被表达，或愤激昂或如诗歌般涓涓流出， 正如乐队灵魂人物Gia 本人一样，她不会再竖起中指向你问好，你们看到的只有坚韧和甜蜜。
